Good day to you, and happy December.

Already miffed a bit at myself for letting NANOWRIMO slide by, and having amassed a total of some 4,000 words, I find that I am heavily preoccupied with the month ahead.

Current status of the computer is still MIA. In my search for a replacement, I actually ended up with a new job, instead. Yes, a new job. One about which I am actually excited. I have been long pondering a change in my daily routine, and when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at it. So, over the course of the December-January season, I will be segueing out of one job and into another. Yes, I'm starting from the bottom again, but hopefully training and educating myself will propel me forward in this new venture.

I'm holding on to the old job, part time, because of financial concerns. I can really use the extra money. (I can't even afford a new computer at my new workplace, even with the employee discount!) This new job is a considerable pay cut, but I hope it will make up for that in job satisfaction.

The faerie-updates are almost finished, and I am looking toward starting a new sketchbook. I may start a new theme for that one...I'm pondering superheroes.

I still have plenty of projects to complete, though anything more complicated than pencils and a cell-phone shot will have to wait.

Holidays are coming. I hope you have good things planned. The struggle is always uphill, else it wouldn't be a struggle, I reckon.
